Liaison Meeting on Cooperation at EUIPO

From 21-22 March, the EUIPO will host the 14th Liaison Meeting on Cooperation.

Experts from intellectual property offices of the EU Member States, candidate countries, countries from the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), as well as representatives from the European Patent Office (EPO) and User Associations will come together to address and discuss the latest developments in the area of cooperation.

Topics will include an update on the implementation of the EUIPO’s current Strategic Plan 2020, the consultation on the Strategic Plan 2025, European and international cooperation, and the latest developments under the Products and Services Quality Programme.

Further items on the agenda will include updates on the projects and activities in the area of information technology, the EUIPO Academy Learning Portal and the Observatory, as well as a technical session on Common Tools.

The Liaison Meetings represent an official forum to discuss technical and expert matters, including the preparatory work of the European Cooperation Projects. It is therefore an important step towards the continuous development and sustainability of a European Union Intellectual Property Network (EUIPN).
